Dr Ameya Ingawale has published papers in peer reviewed journals and has presented papers, videos and instruction courses in various national and international conferences. He has held leadership positions in Sankara Eye Care Institutions, and taken initiatives above and beyond his clinical and surgical duties. It is his initiative, pro activeness and drive that made him shine in their ranks at a young age, and gain invaluable experience and confidence.

Helped establish a new hospital for Sankara Eye Care Institutions, India in Kanpur.

Assisted in setting up the OT, implementing proper sterilisation protocols, OPD and IPD protocols, NABH accreditation procedure, recruitment of new staff, inventory management, budgeting, organisation of outreach camps etc.

Code Blue Emergency Protocol

Team lead, 2011-2014, 2015-2016

Established code blue protocol in Sankara Eye Centre, Coimbatore which enabled critical patients prompt access to resuscitation and basic life support while in transit to facilities with advanced life support systems.

Established a system for training and mock drills for the planning and execution of the code blue emergency protocol by paramedical staff.
